Haneefa Nursing College organised a four-day Nutrition Programme conducted by the students of B.Sc Nursing 2nd Semester. During the programme, the students prepared and displayed a variety of therapeutic diets for different disease conditions, highlighting the importance of nutrition in health promotion and disease management.
The activity gave students a valuable opportunity to enhance their knowledge and practical skills in diet therapy — from planning balanced, condition-specific diets to presenting them through creative food displays and charts. The exhibits showcased therapeutic diets, food groups, and the role of nutrition in recovery and overall well-being.
Faculty members appreciated the efforts and active participation of the students, making the programme both informative and successful. The initiative reflected Haneefa Nursing College’s emphasis on hands-on, practical learning and the central role of nutrition in holistic nursing care.
