On 2nd May 2026, the first-year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing students of Haneefa Nursing College conducted a Nutrition Day Programme to highlight the importance of balanced nutrition in maintaining good health and preventing disease.
Through a series of educational presentations and awareness activities, the students showcased charts and diet plans — covering topics such as high-protein and low-calorie diets as well as specialised diet plans for patients — to promote healthy dietary practices among fellow students and the wider community.
The programme proved to be an informative and engaging learning experience, reflecting Haneefa Nursing College’s commitment to holistic, preventive healthcare education and to encouraging both students and the community to make informed, healthy dietary choices.
