A one day programme was held at Haneefa Nursing college Sopore to create awareness of cancer, it’s early diagnosis, and risk mitigation.
Professor M.A. Charoo, former chairman of the J&K Board of School Education, was the chief guest. Dr. Shabnum Bashir, a leading oncologist, presided as the guest of honour. Professor Dilshada Wani (Principal of Government College of Nursing Baramula), Dr. Zulfikar (BMO Sopore), Dr. Ghulam Jeelani Zargar (Former CMO), and Dr. Omar Salim (Neurologist) were also participated in the event.
